Abstract
Ceramic Matrix Composites(CMC), with low density and high thermal resistance, has been regarded as the potential thermal structure material for the future. Currently, the preparation technology, performance-based design and the application of the CMC are highlights in aeroengine and the rocket engine research field. Nevertheless, the anisotropy properties of CMC due to the internal structural and the difference between matrix and fibers lead to big challenges and difficulties for the hot components design and manufacturing. The present paper aims to analyze the development of CMC applications in aeroengine based on a brief review of the relevant public research work. Meanwhile, some suggestions for CMC components thermal analysis were proposed for the potential research.
