Abstract

This paper summarized γ/γ' partitioning behaviors of alloying elements in Nickel-based single crystal superalloys. The existing research results indicated that Re, Cr, Co, Mo, Ru and W elements mainly distributed in γ phase, while Al, Ta and Ti elements mainly distributed in γ' phase. Meanwhile, γ/γ' partitioning behaviors of alloying elements was found to be affected by the interaction of alloying elements. For example, the partitioning ratios of Re, Cr and Mo elements increased with increasing the Re+Cr+Mo content and Ta+Ti content in single crystal superalloy, and the partition ratio of W element increased with increasing the Ta+Ti content in single crystal superalloy. Meanwhile, Ru addition resulted in "reverse distribution" of alloying elements in some alloys, but "reverse distribution" caused by Ru element was not a common phenomenon. Moreover, the partitioning ratio of Ta element significantly decreased with increasing the Ta-Al mass ratio in single crystal superalloy.
