Abstract
The aviation engine fuel control device is the core control unit of the aero-engine. It has been used in harsh environments such as high temperature,high pressure,and strong vibration for a long time,and has a high failure rate in the use of aero-engines in external factories. The lifespan and reliability of the product have become a weakness that restricts the improvement of equipment capabilities in China. This article summarizes the typical fault types of current fuel control devices,comprehensively and systematically reviews the research status of reliability design and analysis technology,reliability optimization technology,life test technology,and reliability evaluation technology for fuel control devices both domestically and internationally. The shortcomings and reasons in the reliability technology of fuel control devices in China were analyzed,and the technical difficulties and challenges faced in the integrated design of fuel control device performance and reliability during the independent innovation design stage of aviation engines were pointed out,taking into account the current domestic design level and industrial foundation. The basic research ideas needed to strengthen the design capacity of aviation fuel control devices in China are provided.
