Abstract
To study the flow interference characteristics of the salvoed double-vehicle during the water-exit process under the influence of the tube outlet, experimental tests on the evolution of the flow field of the water-exit process of the vehicle were conducted based on high-speed camera technology. The cavity morphology and motion trajectory were identified and extracted by using image processing technology and the differences between the cavity morphology and motion trajectory evolution characteristics of the single-vehicle and double-vehicle were compared and analyzed, and the flow interference characteristics under the action of submarine speed were studied. Results show that the cavity contour on both sides of the vehicle is obviously asymmetric under the action of no submarine speed. The expansion of the cavity pattern on the oncoming side is generally small under the action of submarine speed, but the cavity pattern on the oncoming side of the first-vehicle is larger due to the great influence of the uneven air mass generated by the tube outlet.Whether it is a single-vehicle launching or a salvoed double-vehicle process, the initial motion attitude is easily influenced by the uneven air mass at the launch tube, followed by the surface tension of the barrel seal film and the launch air pressure.
