Abstract
To develop the stabilization technology suitable for the variable speed ratio conditions of the counter-rotating axial-flow compressor(CRAC),a novel dual-jet self-recirculating casing treatment(SRCT)is designed based on a two-stage CRAC,which can improve the stall margin of the CRAC under different speed ratio conditions. The effects of the axial injection position on the SRCT stabilization capacity are studied at the design speed ratio condition, and the dual-jet SRCT scheme with the best stabilization performance is selected to verify its stability expansion potential under variable speed ratio conditions. Results show that the dual-jet SRCT mainly improves the tip flow of the rear rotor at the design speed ratio condition, and the maximum stall margin increases by about 8.40%. Under off-design speed ratio conditions, the dual-jet SRCT enhances the stall margin by about 8.71%~9.74%. The interface between the tip leakage flow and the main flow is pushed to the downstream by the dual-jet the SRCT,and the tip flow of both rotors is improved simultaneously, thus further delaying the occurrence of the stall.
