Abstract
Because of serious electromechanical coupling between the exciter and main machine, the three-stage motor faces the problems of torque shock and dynamic start difficulties under the previous control strategy in the starting mode. A control strategy is proposed in this paper to solve the above issues. The main generator voltage vector amplitude was adjusted through sub-time closed-loop of current/speed, and the large inertia property of the aero-engine load was considered in this method. In this paper, regulation properties of the speed loop were current loop are analyzed, and an improved second-order linear active disturbance rejection controller was adopted to optimize the current loop. The torque shock in the start-up process was reduced. Experiment results verify the response and steady state performance of the proposed method.
