Abstract

In order to realize real-time accurate measurement of the roll angle of high-spin rocket in inertial frame, a measurement algorithm based on geomagnetic sensor is proposed. Geomagnetic sensor measurement information is used to calculate the roll angle of the rocket body with respect to the geomagnetic vector in real time, and the roll angle of the rocket body in the inertial frame is determined by combining the angular position of the geomagnetic vector with respect to the inertial frame. A five-point cubic smoothing filtering algorithm is proposed to process the data collected by the magnetic sensor, which neither needs iterative calculation and nor depends on the dynamic model of the measurement carrier, and can achieve real-time filtering solution. Mathematical and hardware-in-the-loop simulation results show that the proposed mea-surement method improves the angle measurement accuracy by one time, meets the requirements of high-precision and real time, and can effectively suppress the influence of noise.
