摘要
Several triazine derivatives were synthesized and their tribological behavior as additives in rapeseed oil was investigated using a four-ball machine. The results show that these compounds as additives in rapeseed oil increase the load-carrying capacity greatly. The derivative A as additive leads to a slightly decreased friction coefficient and almost unchanged wear scar diameter of the steel ball, while the derivatives B and C as additives promote the wear of the steel ball. Moreover, all the three derivatives start to thermally decompose above 170°C, indicating that they may be used for formulation of conventional lubricating oils.
