Tribological and anti-corrosive performances of epoxy resin coatings filled with Ti3AlC2 at rise temperature

摘要

To improve the tribological and anti-corrosive performances of copper alloy bearings in methanol fuel leakage environments, three different epoxy resin coatings filled with Ti3AlC2 at varying contents were prepared on the surface of CuPb24Sn by liquid spraying. The coating with the best corrosion resistance was selected for friction experiments under simulated methanol fuel leakage condition to investigate its tribological performances at rise temperature. The results show that the coefficient of friction of the coating decreases first and then increases as the temperature rises. The wear rate of the coating increases gradually with temperature. The shear strength of epoxy resin varies with temperature and the viscosity-temperature characteristics of lubricant, are the main reasons for the observed friction wear changes under temperature rise condition.
