The research of group decision methods for product design evaluation

摘要

The product design evaluation and decision plays a very important role in product quality improvement. Having studied the product design evaluation, decision, and group decision methods, the paper put forward the theory of group decision methods for design evaluation to improve the product design evaluation. Linking with product design evaluation features the paper researched some individual evaluation and group decision methods. The Evaluation Problems Generating Database(EPGD) and Evaluation Problems Solving Database(EPSD) were built, so as to help decisionmakers to evaluate product design projects according to their feature and preference. The evaluation and group decision methods and the two databases are the foundations to structure the group decision support system (GDSS) for product design evaluation. They can help decision-makers to evaluate the product design projects and assemble the group decision data to ensure a scientific and credible result. The research improved the product design evaluation theory and methods, and was valuable for the improvement of design evaluation.
