N2 - We explored a method of moments (MoM) that utilizes surface integral equations (SIE) to analyze anisotropic materials with intricate three-dimensional (3D) structures, which exhibit diagonal tensor permittivity or diagonal tensor permeability. Firstly, the generalized Lorenz gauge (GLG) is used to solve the tensor Helmholtz equation of auxiliary potentials. Subsequently, the scattering fields in anisotropic media are solved using the auxiliary potentials that have been obtained. At last, we offer comprehensive and streamlined formulas for the matrix elements derived from discretizing and testing the scattering fields, resulting in a unique MoM of SIE. Examples of numerical simulations confirm the effectiveness, universality, accuracy, and efficiency of this method.
