摘要

This study aimed to determine solid/liquid interfacial energies of an Al–2.5at pct Cu alloy at 568 °C under different intensities of static magnetic field (SMF) using the dihedral angle method. The results demonstrate an increase of interfacial energies in Al–Cu alloy with increasing SMF intensities between 0 and 12 T. Experimental results reveal a threefold variation of the interfacial energies. The theoretical prediction of the interfacial energies under SMF is consistent with the experimental results.
