摘要

Waves are a common and complex phenomenon in the ocean. In this paper, based on the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) method, the water entry process of a projectile with wave heights of 0.3 m, 0.8 m, and 1.3 m is investigated. The cavitation evolution and impact loads during the water entry are analyzed. The results shows that the presence of waves leads to asymmetrical cavitation development. As wave height increases, the size difference in cavitation on two sides of the projectile becomes more pronounced, and the deformation of the projectile head also increases.
