摘要

This chapter provides an in-depth look at advances in space biomechanics, a discipline that intersects physics with aerospace biomedicine, focusing on the effects of microgravity environments on biomechanical systems, particularly the range of physiological responses affecting the skeletal, muscular, and cardiovascular systems resulting from changes in the distribution of stresses within the human body. Understanding the effects of microgravity on living organisms has become critical as human exploration of space continues. Exploring these coupled force-biology mechanisms will help advance the life sciences in space and provide a solid theoretical foundation for space exploration and extraterrestrial migration.
