摘要
Odor sensitive unit of the smell-seeing electronic nose for trimethylamine detection is developed. Rules of choosing color sensors and methods of designing lamphouse are presented. Trimethylamines gases of eight different concentrations are tested by the home-made smell-seeing electronic nose. A principle component analysis ( PCA ) shows that among the eight samples, seven concentrations related to human health are linearly discriminable. The system's limit of detection ( LOD) is under 50 particles per billion ( x 10-9 ), and the sensitive units are repeatedly usable under concentration of 8 particles per million (x 10-6).
