摘要
SiCf/SiC ceramic matrix composites exhibit high strength and toughness, characterizing them typical difficult-to-machine materials. This paper proposes a nanosecond pulsed laser-structured assisted microgrinding process. A systematic investigation is conducted on the influence of different laser-structured geometric morphologies on microgrinding surface roughness and tool wear behavior. Compared with conventional microgrinding, the results indicate that laser-structured assisted microgrinding achieves a maximum surface roughness improvement of approximately 40 %, with grinding force and grinding temperature decreased by 71 % and 16 %, respectively. Additionally, ablation products, ablation mechanisms, and differences in grinding debris micromorphology are studied.
