摘要
Continuous synchronous composite (CSC) is a novel process to fabricate ceramic matrix composites reinforced with carbon cloths, based on conventional chemical vapor infiltration (CVI) principles. In the CSC process, carbon cloths continuously wind around the graphite substrate, so the continuous synchronous composite between reinforced phase and matrix is achieved, by means of synchronous conducting between pyrolysis deposition of matrix and preforming preparation. By controlling the concentration of reactant gas CH3SiCl3 MTS), the deposition temperature and the carbon cloth rotational linear velocity, the filling of matrix into micro-holes and macro-holes is realized. The density of C/SiC composites fabricated by CSC process can obtain 93% of the theoretical density.
