摘要
A hybrid technique for combining moment methods (MoM) with the geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD) was used to compute the radiation pattern of the array antennas located near to electrically large perfectly electric conducting (PEC) platform. An optimization process based on genetic algorithm (GA) was employed to yield a desired radiation pattern. Then, programs were developed to simulate the far field pattern of the array antennas close to electrically large PEC platform. The utility of this technique was demonstrated by considering half-wave dipole array antennas placed close to a finite-length PEC circular cylinder. The amplitude and phase of the element excited voltage were considered as the optimized parameters. Comparing to other methods, the optimization technique based on GA and MoM-UTD is an effective, accurate, high performance method.
