摘要
Treating condensed particles in SRM as liquid droplet with a given viscosity, numerical simulation was carried to model the collisions among particles and the impingement between the particles and the wall surface. Comparisons were made between simulation and experimental results and they agree well. The results show that it is more reasonable to treat condensed particles in SRM as liquid droplet and for aggregative conditions. Collisions play an important role in the distribution of particle diameter and it is the interactions between droplets and wall boundary that results in both the generation of smaller droplets and formation of metal layer.
