摘要
The magnetization and magnetic susceptibility of Hg0.89Mn0.11Te crystal grown in laboratory were studied using a MPMS-XL superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). At a constant temperature of 2 K, Hg0.89Mn0.11Te shows an irreversible magnetization in the ever changing field of -0.5-0.5 kOe. Moreover, Hg0.89Mn0.11Te shows the spin-glass behavior below 2.8 K. The identification of a spin-glass transition is supported by the freezing appearing in the freezing temperature and the irreversible effects taking place below the freezing temperature. This is the minimum value of Mn2+ concentration (permeation limit) for the observation of spin-glass transition in Hg1-xMnxTe crystal so far.
