摘要
Zhou et al in Ref.3 proposed an adaptive variable structure guidance law. In our opinion, it needs to be improved by using fuzzy control theory. Section 1 of the full paper discusses the factors that change continuously the angular velocity of the line of sight. Section 2 explains how we improve the adaptive variable structure guidance law in Ref.3; the result is that we add to it a term to compensate for the target maneuvers, this additional term being given by eq.(20) at the end of section 2. Section 3 designs this additional term by using fuzzy control theory. The simulation results, given in Fig.5 and Table 1 of the full paper, show preliminarily that our improved variable structure guidance law does suppress greatly the miss distance.
