Finite-Time Consensus with Asynchronous Sampling Measurement

摘要

In this paper, a new approach is constructed based on asynchronous modifiers to solve the finite-time consensus problems with asynchronous sampling measurement. By using this approach, finite-time consensus of multi-agent systems is achieved under an asynchronous sampling sequence. Besides, the settling time can be designed accurately and arbitrarily. In order to achieve finite-time consensus with asynchronous sampling measurement, firstly, the sampling series for each agent in multi-agent systems is designed differently and independently, but can converge to the same time. Secondly, asynchronous modifiers are proposed to overcome asynchronous communication. Combining optimal control theory and non-negative matrix theory, the problems of finite-time consensus can be figured out under sample-data-based controllers with the designed asynchronous sampling series. Additionally, consensus of multi-agent systems is achieved by asynchronously sampling measurement rather than broadcasting their states.
