Ferroelectric hysteresis loop scaling and electric-field-induced strain of Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-BaTiO3 ceramics

摘要

The field dependence of ferroelectric hysteresis loop and polarization reversal of 0.94(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3-0.06BaTiO3 (BNT-6BT) ferroelectrics at room temperature and 110°C are investigated. The variation of the hysteresis area suggests three stages of the polarization reversal at the two temperatures, where the first and third stage can be scaled as power law relationships, and the second stage shows non-linear functions. Distinct features in the two temperatures indicate the differences between the domain structures and their external field responses. The reversible field-induced phase transition from relaxor phase to ferroelectric phase at 110°C plays a key role in getting the large strain.
