摘要
In section 1 of the full paper, we introduce briefly the traditional ideas and methods in two dimensional cascade profile design. In section 2, we explore, through a numerical example, some new ideas and new methods in 2D cascade profile optimization design for low Reynolds number and high altitude. Section 2 is divided into four subsections. In subsection 2.1, we perform the numerical caculation and constrast of the flow fields of a 2D fan/compressor cascade profile for low Reynolds number. In subsection 2.2, we present the effects of high altitude and low Reynolds number on the performance of the fan/compressor cascade profile. Then we develop a new cascade profile that can maintain the satisfactory flow for low Reynolds number and has the rather strong capability of resisting flow separation. Finally, we use the ground conditions (0 km) and the high altitude of 20 km for low Reynolds number to carry out the optimization design of a cascade profile. In section 3, we summarize three preliminary conlusions as the results of our exploration of new ideas and new methods.
