摘要

Amorphous carbon doped MgB2-xCx (x = 0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, 0.30) samples were synthesized by solid state reaction method at 750 °C for 2 h in high pure argon. The microstructure and superconducting properties of all samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and physical property measurement system (PPMS). The results show that a part of doping carbon enters MgB2 crystal lattice and the residue at grain boundary of MgB2. Ultra thin MgB2 grains can be found in slight carbon doped sample, which can improve flux pinning. The Jc value of MgB1.9C0.1 sample reaches 8 × 104 A/cm2 at 20 K, 3 T.
