abstract = "With the quick development of modern science and technology, higher resolution image from airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is required. Not only more accurate motion compensation should be applied to the radar returns to reduce image degradation which caused by spurious motion of antenna phase center (APC), but also more precise pointing and stabilization system should be used to isolate the antenna from aircraft rotational motion. According to Lagrange equation in analytical dynamics, the dynamics equations of a certain airborne two-axis antenna platform are derived in this paper, these lay the foundation for the analysis and design of platform control system.",
