摘要

This study extends the concept of survivability in network security to the field of coupled oscillators. The system survivability is the fundamental prerequisite for maintaining normal functionality. Given the universality of mean-field coupling mechanism, dynamic survivability is studied on the mean-field coupling system under all-to-all network and BA scale-free network. Theoretical framework for the system dynamic survivability is provided. Numerical investigations are performed in order to verify theoretical results. Three attack strategies are examined for BA scale-free network: random attack, high-degree node (HD) targeted attack, and low-degree node (LD) targeted attack. The results indicate that coupling strength and mean-field strength have opposite effects on the system survivability. In particular, HD targeted attacks cause the greatest damage to system’s survivability, while LD targeted attacks exhibit the strongest survivability, highlighting the core role of critical nodes. This study pioneers a novel analytical framework for dynamic survivability in coupled oscillators, establishing a theoretical basis for parameter optimization while demonstrating its transformative potential in engineering attack-resilient network architectures.
