N2 - The NC tape winding machine for multiple purposes is a complicated device combining and integrating such scientific specializations as mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, automation and numerical control. Based on analyzing the machine's structure, components and creation methods, the authors of this paper designed a typical NC tape winding machine, and improved the accuracy for controlling the parameters during the winding process. The key technologies of the host machine structure, the tension control system, the temperature control system, pressure control system and the NC system are each discussed in detail.
