Calculating deformation and stresses during cup-cup combined extruding

In order to find out the defects during extruding, it is necessary to know the development of deformation and stresses during extruding. Such information can be obtained through finite element numerical simulation for cup-cup combined extrusion when the cups are the same in outside diameter. This paper worked on finite element numerical simulation to provide such information even when cups are unequal in outside diameter. Six different cases were included in the finite element numerical simulation.
