This paper focuses on the empowering strategies of artificial intelligence technology in civil aircraft design, delving into the concept of intelligent design and its common challenges. First, it discusses the potential of intelligent design in enhancing design efficiency, accuracy, and innovation. Next, it introduces key technologies related to intelligent civil aircraft design, including machine learning, optimization algorithms, and simulation technologies. Finally, it elaborates on China’s explorations and practical applications in overall design, aerodynamic optimization, structural analysis, and cockpit design, demonstrating how artificial intelligence technology plays a vital role in various aspects of civil aircraft design.
