摘要
A cylindrical roller bearing (CRB) dynamic model including the race defects is developed for use in estimating cage slip and roller-cage impact force (IF) for the given defect cases. The model considers roller-race friction under healthy and defective race conditions. Two defect types are adopted to investigate their effects on the cage slip and roller-cage IF. The CRB experiment vibration data is used to evaluate and validate the simulation acceleration. Then the race defect length, depth, and initial phase effects on the cage slip and IF are discussed. The results reveal that CRBs with defects on the surfaces of inner and outer races exhibit distinct cage slips. Under the same defect sizes, the defect on the outer race's loaded zone has a bigger influence on cage slip. The defect initial phase also changes the cage slip and IF slightly.
