An Intersection Localization Method for RFI in Multi-Channel SAR Based on Motion Characteristics

摘要

Radio frequency interference (RFI) poses significant challenges to the earth observation capabilities of synthetic aperture radar (SAR). RFI source localization provides crucial prior information for RFI mitigation and spectrum management. Existing direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithms for multi-channel SAR systems face severe ambiguities due to the limitation of the long baseline. To mitigate this issue, this paper proposes an RFI intersection localization method based on phase matching and grid search. It avoids the problem of multiple phase-wrapping and effectively reduces the impact of ambiguity values. The localization accuracy is validated in measured dual-channel SAR data with simulated RFI, which yield only one cluster of points within the valid localization area and achieve high localization accuracy.
