摘要
This paper reports an active neural optrode with metal shielding laser diode (LD) and electrochemical modified microelectrodes. Compared to state of the art, for the first time, this work combines electromagnetic shielding, transient pulse shaping and interface modification to reduce the amplitude of stimulus-induced noise, including electromagnetic interference, photovoltaic noise and photoelectrochemical noise, to less than 50 microvolts. The proposed neural optrode has broad prospects in the application of neural recording and stimulation with low noise and high signal-to-noise ratio.
