摘要
To study the effect of particle sizes of Al and AP on agglomeration and characteristics of CL-20 Propellant, the method of visualizing the agglomeration of aluminum particles and analyzing the characteristics of condensed combustion products (CCPs) was used to obtain the agglomeration process of aluminum in CL-20 high-energy propellant, and the CCPs were collected. The residence time of agglomerates with different particle sizes on the combustion surface were counted, and the microscopic morphology, phase analysis and particle size distribution of CCPs were conducted. The effects of Al and AP particle size on the agglomeration and CCPs characteristics of CL-20 propellant were analyzed. The results show that the residence time of the agglomerates on the burning surface gradually increases with increasing the particle size of the agglomerates. For the agglomerates with particle size distribution of 60-270μm, the residence time is 1-20ms. The obtained CCPs mainly include aluminum oxide dust particles with particle size of 1μm and agglomerate particles with particle size greater than 100μm. The decrease of Al particle size leads to an increase in the maximum particle size distribution peak of CCPs. The volume fraction of particles with particle size of about 1μm increases and the agglomeration degree increases. While the decrease of AP particle size leads to a decrease in the maximum particle size distribution peak of CCPs. The volume fraction of particles with particle size of about 1μm decreases and the agglomeration degree decreases.
