摘要

Curves of relationship between moment of brake force and brake velocity of aeroplane and the effect of factors on the relationship for carbon/carbon composites (C/C) fabricated by chemical vapour deposition were analyzed. Research results indicate that the initial peak value of moment of brake force on these curves increases as the temperature on the friction surfaces is increased. The initial peak value of moment of brake force can well be decreased when the degree of graphitization of this material is increased, the structure of brake discs is improved and the speed of specific pressure exerted on the brake discs is decreased. C/C composites possess better property of self-lubrication. The wear rate is only equal to 1.2×10-3 mm each brake. The mechanical properties and thermal physical properties are good enough to meet the needs of brake requirements of aeroplane.
