N2 - With the increasing application of SiC-based ceramic matrix composites (CMCs-SiC) in aeronautics, astronautics and nuclear energy engineering structures, researchers have paid more attention to their fabrication processes and service performance. As CMCs-SiC are more expensive compared to metals, significant efforts have been devoted to developing simulation methods, aiming to reduce application costs and simulate scenarios that cannot be replicated through physical experiments. This paper reviews simulation methods for both the fabrication processes and service performance of CMCs-SiC, encompassing manufacturing, machining, coating procedures, as well as aerodynamic, thermal, mechanical, and electromagnetic performance. It provides a detailed discussion of current software tools, fundamental principles, and research gaps in CMCs-SiC simulation research. Additionally, the application of emerging data-driven methods in CMCs-SiC research is systematically summarized. This work offers methodological references and future directions for researchers engaged in simulation studies of CMCs-SiC.
