摘要
The rising and huge demand for light conversion materials in versatile applications has led to extensive research on eco-friendly phosphors from an economic and environmental perspective. However, conventional phosphors are generally processed by embedding light emitters into auxiliary matrixes to achieve solid-state film fluorescence, limiting their recyclable utilization due to purification difficulty and performance degradation. Here, we report a recyclable nanocarbon phosphor with high yield for ultrastable white emitter. Through the synergy of dots and sheets, the nanocarbons exhibit white luminescence in solid state with direct film-forming ability. Significantly, the emitters possess robust recyclable ability without performance degradation due to their structural stability both in solid state and in solution state. Furthermore, the recyclable emitters exhibit voltage-independent luminescence behavior in phosphor-coated light-emitting devices (LEDs) and ultrastable photoluminescence with excitation wavelength, concentration, heat, and light irradiation independence. This work provides an attempt to prevent the landfilling and incineration of harmful byproducts at their disposal and shows great potential in sustainable development toward greener electronics.
