N2 - Conventional excitation-based rotor position estimation methods for brushless electrically excited synchronous machines (BEESMs) face dual limitations: compromised accuracy relative to physical sensors and inability to determine initial position. To address these, a novel PCB axial flux integrated exciter-resolver system (PCB-AFI-ER) is proposed. The system's structure and mathematical model are developed, and a real-time rotor position decoding method is verified through simulations, demonstrating high accuracy in rotor position estimation.
