A new measurement method of polarimetric spectral bidirectional reflectance distribution function

As the shortage of spectrophotometer and CCD camera in the experiment of polarimetric BRDF, a new experiment methodwas proposed. Polarimetric spectral BRDF was measured using spectrophotometer and CCD camera with liquid crystal tunable filter (LCTF) seperatively, then imagery data retrieval was carried out by using spectrophotometer data. The experiment results indicate that retrieved polarimetric BRDF data charcaterises its spectral variability and the homogeneousness of material, and describes the color, roughness, electrical conductivity, texture, edge of the material and so on.
