摘要

Electrophysiology recording provides the great spatial resolution of neural activities which is becoming an essential method for basic neuroscience applications. Here, we develop a 3-dimensional high-density implantable microelectrode array integrated with micro-drive to meet the requirement of high positioning accuracy, multiple-brain regions and long-term recording. The microelectrode array is composed of four 2D probes in parallel and obtain 1024 microelectrodes in total. Each probe is packaged to flexibility polyamide (PI) cable with the aid of anisotropic conductive adhesive (ACF) and then assembled to the 3D drivable module to realized accurate positioning in targeted brain. Platinum black (Pt-Black) was modified at the area of microelectrodes to improve the electrochemical performance and the long-term recording performance of high-density microelectrodes were verified in-vivo animal experiments after 14 days implantation.
