A Hierarchical Control Allocation Strategy for Distributed Electric Propulsion Aircraft

摘要

This paper proposes a hierarchical control allocation strategy for Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) aircraft. The strategy consists of three cascaded layers: a top-level flight attitude controller based on Sliding Mode Control (SMC), a mid-level optimal power allocation scheme, and a low-level motor control system. Compared with the conventional aircraft, DEP aircraft allows additional control authority over the yaw moment made by active differential thrust. Strategies that take full advantage of this benefit result in better control performance, lower power consumption, and greater fault tolerance. The dynamic performance of the proposed method has been validated using a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) platform for DEP aircraft.
