摘要

Sol-gel method was used to generate inorganic nano-ZrO2 clusters in situ in epoxy E51, and the use of pendant hydroxyl groups on organic epoxy molecular chains to form chemical bonds with inorganic nano-clusters, which enhanced the compatibility between organic and inorganic components. It also avoided the agglomeration of inorganic nanoclusters. The structure was characterized by FT-IR, XRD, SEM, AFM and TEM, which prove that ZrO2 nanoparticles were successfully generated in-situ and distributed evenly in the system. In addition, the prepared film materials have a good flatness. The refractive index of the prepared epoxy/ZrO2 nano hybrid optical materials is increased linearly with the increase of the content of inorganic nanoparticles in the system, and the refractive index is continuously adjustable between 1.512 and 1.749. In the visible wavelength range, the transmittance of the epoxy/ZrO2 nano-hybrid optical films is generally maintained above 85%, and even the content of the nanoparticles is increased to 25%, the light transmittance can also be maintained above 80%.
