摘要
The distortion of blades after releasing clamps which was caused by machining induced residual stresses is very difficult to predict accurately. To solve this problem, a method of predicting distortion induced by milling residual stresses based on clamping force monitoring is proposed. Firstly, a mathematic model of distortion prediction is established, and then the solving method is put forward based on the theory of statically indeterminate structure. Secondly, the feasibility of several common fixtures to predict distortion induced by residual stresses with the method is discussed, and the steps to realize the prediction method are given. Finally, an experiment is conducted to verify the validity of the method. The results show that the prediction error is about 13% compared with the measured value.
