Abstract

Using double-exposure holographic interferometory with quadruplicate phase multiplication, the visual investigations of the acoustic levitation field were carried out. The holographic interference patterns reflecting the sound pressure distribution were obtained from the acoustic levitation field under a given restonant mode at different inspirit currents. The phase difference distribution obtained by the holographic interference pattern of the acoustic levitation field. was analyzed. The result shows that the proposed setup with quadruplicate phase multiplication can obviously increase the fringe number of the interference phase pattern of the acoustic levitation field and enhance the measurement sensitivity, and it provides an effective way for studying the sound pressure distribution of the acoustic levitation field.
