Abstract

A new terminal guidance law with strong robustness was proposed in the case of a three-dimensional interception. Considering missile's dynamics of autopilot, a nonlinear adaptive variable structure guidance law was designed based on the zero-miss-distance between missile and target, and at the same time the maneuvering acceleration of target was regarded as a disturbance with known boundary. Theoretical analysis and simulating results show that the designed guidance law has good performance and the algorithm has strong robustness and adaptability to target maneuver. The algorithm is very simple, so it more convenient for comprehension and practical implementation.
