Abstract

Based on the one-dimensional micro slip model and trajectory-tracing method, a two-dimensional micro slip friction model to analyze coupled vibration of turbine blades was presented by introducing parallel springs with sliding contact points to simulate the contact condition. The formula of friction force for all friction contact states was deduced. The mechanism of two-dimensional micro slip was deeply revealed by simulations. The conclusions drawn from the analyses show that the two-dimensional micro slip is of both consistency and essential difference as compared with one-dimensional micro slip and that the two-dimensional micro slip model can be well used to analyze, the coupled vibration of dry friction damper.
