Topology optimal design of structural dynamic boundary condition based on ICM criterion method

Abstract

According to structural dynamic boundary condition, the optimal design of structural dynamic boundaries based on certain requirements of natural frequencies and modal shape was studied. The design criterion of dynamic boundary condition was established using norm of structural modal shape differences as objective function and natural frequencies as constraints. The solution which satisfies structural dynamic requirements was determined according to the changeable solutions of real structure in constraint range. Using the ICM criterion method, the topology optimization was applied to the dynamic boundary design of an airplane wing frame model with frame boundary. The numeric simulation example proves the feasibility of the presented method in dynamic optimization.
