Abstract

A new method for preparing 1′,1‴-disubstituted heterocyclylbiferrocene derivatives via stepwise Stille coupling reaction of 1,1′-bis(tributylstannyl)ferrocene with heterocyclic bromides and subsequent Cu-catalyzed homocoupling reaction is established.
