Abstract

The reaction of tetraphenylporphyrin and strontium acetate was used for synthesizing the complex tetrakis (phenyl) porphyrin strontium Sr (TPP)2. The structure of Sr (TPP)2 was determined by elemental analyses, FTIR and 1HNMR. Its UV-Vis absorption spectrum, fluorescence spectrum and cyclic voltammetry were studied for photoelectric properties. In the UV-Vis absorption spectra of Sr (TPP)2, there are one strong absorption peak at 428 nm and one weak absorption peak at 457 nm. Sr (TPP)2 emits the fluorescence with one strong peak at 610 nm and one weak peak at 676 nm. In contrast to tetraphenylporphyrin, the UV-Vis absorption peak of Sr (TPP)2 is of red-shift and the fluorescence peak is of blue-shift.
