Abstract

With the development of agricultural informationization in China, how to trace wheat products quality effectively has become a big issue. In this paper, in order to effectively manage the circulation of wheat products and implement the traceability of wheat products, a wheat circulating model is proposed, based on which an approach to trace the whole supply chain using EPC(Electronic Product Code) is presented. Considering information distribution and isolation in traceability chain, distributed ONS (Object Name Service:) that can.provide different levels of service for data conversion and traceability information index in distriution environment is implemented. In the study the use of EPC and distributed ONS can provide effectively tracking and tracing the whole circulation flow of wheat products. Finally the test shows that the proposed approach for traceability can trace the wheat products quality information in the whole currency chain effectively.
